Opportunities and Resources

The Centers for Medical Countermeasures Against Radiation Consortium focuses on basic, translational, and applied studies with the goal of generating new medical products to assess and address damage caused by radiation exposure from a mass casualty incident.
NIAID will fund projects to conduct detailed characterization, direct comparisons, and further development of humanized immune system mouse models, particularly models that do not need to use fetal sources of human cells and tissue for immune reconstitution.
