SOPS Fact: The Medical Office and Ambulatory Surgery Center SOPS Databases will open for data submission this year

Healthcare organizations that administer one of the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) Surveys on Patient Safety Culture™ (SOPS™) can voluntarily submit their data to one of the SOPS Databases for patient safety improvement. Submitters receive a customized feedback report that compares their organization’s results to the database.

The following databases will open in 2019 for voluntary data submission:

• NEW! SOPS Ambulatory Surgery Center Database: June 3 – July 22
• SOPS Medical Office Database: September 3 – October 21
