A shakeup at Grail, the liquid biopsy startup

Hans Bishop, the former CEO of Juno Therapeutics, has a new job: CEO of Grail.

The San Francisco liquid biopsy startup announced his appointment late yesterday, as it rolled out an executive shakeup. The company's chief financial officer, Renée Galá, has decided to step down, and Joshua Ofman, formerly a senior vice president at Amgen, is joining Grail as chief of corporate strategy.

The company said outgoing CEO Jennifer Cook is leaving for family health reasons. It's worth noting that Bishop will be Grail's third CEO since its founding in 2015.
