Free Program to Help Hospitals Improve Surgical Care and Recovery
Enrollment is now open for hospitals wishing to participate in AHRQ’s Safety Program for Improving Surgical Care and Recovery (ISCR), a 12-month program that starts September 1, 2019. Participants will implement a program to improve recovery after gynecologic, colorectal, or hip fracture/joint replacement surgeries using evidence-based enhanced recovery pathways, coaching and content calls with experts in the field, and other resources. Register for informational webinars on June 10, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. ET or June 17 at 1:00 p.m. ET.
The ISCR project is funded and guided by AHRQ and led by the Johns Hopkins Armstrong Institute for Patient Safety and Quality, in collaboration with the American College of Surgeons.
