AHRQ: Defining and Supporting Learning Health Systems
New information is available from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) to help health system executives better understand what it takes to create a learning health system. A learning health system (LHS) combines internal data and experience with external evidence to make care higher quality, safer, more efficient care for patients.
