Physicians
NIAID’s Division of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases seeks exceptional and motivated leaders to serve as physicians. DMID supports extramural research to control and prevent diseases caused by virtually all human infectious agents except HIV. The physicians will have a wide range of responsibilities relating to the oversight of a major extramural clinical research program in infectious diseases.
U.S. citizenship and an M.D. or D.O. is required. Board eligibility or board certification in adult or pediatric infectious diseases, internal medicine, or pediatrics is preferred. Candidates must also have experience in clinical research in the treatment and/or prevention of infectious diseases.
