The World Health Organization (WHO) has launched the AWaRe tool with a goal to prevent antimicrobial resistance by classifying antibiotics into three groups: Access, Watch, and Reserve. The website is intended to increase public awareness of issues of antimicrobial resistance and responsible antibiotic use.
