- The African Postdoctoral Training Initiative (APTI), a partnership of the African Academy of Sciences, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the NIH, will offer two-year postdoctoral fellowships with training at NIH intramural labs, plus two years of some salary support.

- The Special Program for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases (TDR) is offering a free online course Implementation research: infectious diseases of poverty in English, French and Spanish. The step-by-step online training is for public health researchers and decision-makers, disease control program managers, academics and others that focuses on how to design and demonstrate robust projects to improve control of infectious diseases of poverty and generate better health outcomes.
