Inside STAT: This advocate wants mental health on the ballot in 2020
For Chuck Ingoglia, president and CEO of the D.C. nonprofit National Council for Behavioral Health, mental health is a winning issue for the presidential election this year. His organization conducted a presidential primary poll and found that large majorities of New Hampshire voters believe the federal government isn’t doing enough to address the nation’s addiction and mental health challenges.
