The Effective Health Care (EHC) Program is interested in receiving supplemental evidence and data (SEADs) for systematic reviews that are relevant to the questions in our evidence reports. To ensure that it has full access to relevant research, whether or not it is published, the EHC Program is interested in receiving SEADs containing detailed study-specific information. Treatments for Acute Pain: A Systematic Review
Available for submission until January 31, 2020
This systematic review will assess the comparative effectiveness of treatments and harms of opioid and nonopioid treatments for surgical and nonsurgical pain related to eight acute pain conditions (back pain, neck pain, other musculoskeletal pain, neuropathic pain, postoperative pain after discharge, dental pain, kidney stones, and sickle cell crisis).
(Section 944 (c) of the Public Health Service Act [42 U.S.C. 299c 3(c)] requires that information collected for research conducted or supported by AHRQ that identifies individuals or establishments be used only for the purpose for which it was supplied unless they consent to the use of the information for another purpose.)
