2020 Data Submission for the AHRQ Surveys on Patient Safety Culture™ (SOPS^®) Databases

Voluntary data submission will be open for the following:

• Hospital Survey on Patient Safety Culture Database: June 1 – July 20
  • NEW: Hospitals can submit data from the
    • SOPS Hospital Survey, Versions 1.0 and 2.0,
    • SOPS Health IT Patient Safety Supplemental Items and
    • SOPS Value and Efficiency Supplemental Items 
• Nursing Home Survey on Patient Safety Culture Database: September 1 – 21
  

The SOPS Databases contain data from those facilities choosing to submit their SOPS survey data. Participating facilities will receive an individual feedback report and summary report displaying their results as well as aggregated results from all database participants.

In 2020, users can submit data from the Hospital Survey on Patient Safety Culture Version 1.0 and/or Version 2.0. However, after 2020, only data from Version 2.0 will be accepted in the Database.
