eMDM PROD Provider Data Products Issue Notification

This notification is to inform users that an issue was identified in the Master Data Management (MDM) Provider domain. An issue was identified with the population of the Medicare Individual Providers’ specialties in MDM from PECOS. There are 8,381 records associated with 6,796 distinct enrollments that should be populated as “Historical or Deleted” indicated by (REC_STUS_CD= "H" or “D”), but are erroneously flagged as “Current” (REC_STUS_CD= "C”). As a result, you will see multiple “Current” records for the distinct enrollments.

1.   MDM PMI/SPP Extract - P#MDD.FULL.PDM.SPCH.Dyymmdd.Thhmmsst

2.   The Comprehensive (Medi-Medi) PMI/SPP Extract - P#MDD.COMPFULL.PDM.CSPCH.Dyymmdd.Thhmmsst

3.   NPI Specialty Extract - P#MDD.FULL.PDM.SPVW.Dyymmdd.Thhmmsst

4.   MDM IDR ADM Table - MDD_PRVDR_DM_SPCLTY_HSTRY

5.   MDM IDR ADM Table - MDD_NPI_SPCLTY

The MDM team is working on an emergency fix and expect to resolve this issue prior to refreshing the MDM Comprehensive PMI/SPP on Wed, March 25th.   A subsequent notification will be sent when the issue has been resolved.
