The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality's (AHRQ) mission is to produce evidence to make health care safer, higher quality, more accessible, equitable, and affordable, and to work within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and with other partners to make sure that the evidence is understood and used. AHRQ's Center for Evidence and Practice Improvement (CEPI) generates new knowledge, synthesizes evidence, translates science on what works in health and health care delivery, and catalyzes practice improvement across health care settings.  

AHRQ is Hiring

Director of the Division of Practice Improvement to lead research, implementation, and dissemination activities related to practice and/or systems improvement; to supervise a staff of highly skilled professionals; and to plan, direct and execute all Division operations. The Director will cultivate partnerships to support the work of the Division; work with other managers in the Center to provide leadership at the Center level; and represent the Agency on national and international committees, panels and workgroups.

The successful candidate should have experience managing multidisciplinary senior and junior professionals; directing or leading scientific research studies or projects associated with health care delivery and quality; and expertise and leadership in the design, implementation and evaluation of projects related to practice and/or systems improvement.
