FDA to Hold Public Meeting in Preparation for International Cooperation on Cosmetics Regulation (ICCR-14) Meeting
March 2, 2020
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) today announced that it will hold a public meeting on April 14, 2020. The purpose of this meeting is to solicit input on topics that may be relevant for further discussion at the upcoming ICCR-14 Meeting.
The April 14 meeting will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Harvey W. Wiley Federal Building, 5001 Campus Drive, Auditorium (first floor), College Park, MD 20740.
Input gathered at this meeting will help the agency prepare for the International Cooperation on Cosmetics Regulation-14 (ICCR-14) meeting to be held June 8-10, 2020 in Brussels, Belgium. ICCR is a voluntary international group of cosmetics regulatory authorities from Brazil, Canada, the European Union, Japan, and the United States. The ICCR members work together to promote regulatory alignment in laws, policies, rules, regulations and directives of the respective administrations and governments.
The FDA encourages members of the public to present proposals for future ICCR agenda items and/or data, information, or views on pending issues orally or in writing at the public meeting. Members of the public may attend the meeting either in person or by webcast. Webcast information will be sent to registered participants only.
