Fox News hosts virtual coronavirus town hall with President Trump

A bipartisan resolution introduced Tuesday by Rep. Jim Banks, R-Ind., condemns the Chinese government over its handling of the coronavirus outbreak, charging that a series of lies and mismanagement by officials contributed to the pandemic that has infected nearly 390,000 people worldwide and killed more than 16,700. 

U.S. equity markets surged Tuesday morning amid investor optimism that members of Congress will overcome their differences to reach a deal on a $2 trillion coronavirus stimulus package. The global spread of the coronavirus has forced the Tokyo Olympics to be postponed until next summer at the latest, Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe announced. And various states have started threatening jail time for those who disobey coronavirus orders and restrictions.

An Arizona man has died and his wife is hospitalized in critical condition after they both took the drug chloroquine phosphate to self-medicate for coronavirus. (Chloroquine phosphate is an ingredient found in fish tank cleaner.)

FEMA Administrator Peter Gaynor, in an interview on "Fox & Friends," urged Americans not to get tested for COVID-19 without showing symptoms of the disease first.

Expectant fathers and others are calling on government officials to reverse a ban on “birthing partners and support persons” from labor and delivery rooms at New York-Presbyterian’s hospitals.
