Comments Due April 1 on Pain Management Draft Report
The public is invited to provide comments until April 1 on the Draft Report on Pain Management Best Practices: Updates, Gaps, Inconsistencies, and Recommendations. The report, required by the Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act of 2016 and developed by the Pain Management Best Practices Inter-Agency Task Force, is intended to identify gaps or inconsistencies in pain management. The report addresses both chronic and acute pain, and proposes updates to best practices and recommendations. AHRQ encourages patients, families, researchers and others to submit comments to help guide future research, health delivery system improvement, and new data and analytics aimed at ensuring all Americans receive high quality, safe and patient-centered care.
