Boston Children’s ranked best pediatric hospital

Boston Children’s Hospital is the top pediatric hospital in the country, according to the latest rankings from U.S. News and World Report. The Boston hospital topped the list’s Honor Roll, which ranks the best children’s hospitals overall. It also earned high marks in five of the 10 specialties — including orthopedics and nephrology — that the report examined. Analysts ranked the top hospitals in the country based on patient safety, outcomes, and the degree to which families are involved in care. Other notables on the list include the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, which was ranked the best for diabetes and endocrinology care, as well as Texas Children’s Hospital, which was top in cardiology and pulmonology.
