Speaking of summer Fridays ...

Regulatory nerds, I have some bad news for you … that vacation you timed perfectly for congressional recess might not have been the wisest decision, after all. Over the last 10 years HHS has dropped more regulations in July and August than virtually any month other month of the year, according to a fun new paper from PwC. Even worse, Friday was among the most popular days to drop regulations.

Come on HHS, summer Fridays have been a thing since the 1980s! For an administration so into innovation, perhaps we can innovate a little on the timing for these rule drops?
