The association between organizational culture and the ability to benefit from "just culture" training.
Establishing a just culture is widely considered to be important in health care, but existing organizational culture may be a barrier to successful culture change. Researchers analyzed survey data obtained from 172 providers and administrators working on two units at two different community hospitals before and after administration of a formal just culture training. They found that the hospital with a less hierarchical culture seemed to benefit more from the training.
