To determine the Pala Tribe of Mission Indians’ climate change vulnerability, this report summarizes a process that entailed review of literature, data, staff knowledge, and community observations to determine to what extent Pala may be exposed to various climate changes now and in the future. It lists the exposures that present the most significant and interrelated risks for Pala, the potential impacts resulting from such exposures, and the community characteristics that make Pala more sensitive or more adaptable to these impacts.
