This 88-page evaluation was based on a joint external assessment held on June 10-14, 2019, of the International Health Regulations (IHR) core capacities of Georgia using the World Health Organization (WHO) IHR Joint External Evaluation (JEE) tool. It discusses how Georgia acknowledges the importance of emergency preparedness, communicable disease control, surveillance, and response; and regulates the area with comprehensive laws and bylaws.
