Postdoctoral FellowVaccines Against Pediatric Respiratory Viruses
The NIAID RNA Viruses Section, in the Laboratory of Infectious Diseases, seeks a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher interested in molecular virology, live viral vaccine development using reverse genetics, and the host response to respiratory virus infection and vaccines. The laboratory provides a rich training environment in virology, immunology, and molecular and cellular biology, with access to cutting-edge scientific techniques, including NextGen and single-cell sequencing, advanced microscope imaging, and advanced flow cytometry.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. or M.D. obtained within the last three years. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong background in virology or immunology. Underrepresented minorities are especially encouraged to apply. NIH is dedicated to building a diverse community in its training and employment programs.
