Staff Scientist
Don’t miss this unique opportunity for a staff scientist position in the NIAID Bacterial Pathogenesis and Antimicrobial Resistance Unit (BPARU) of the Laboratory of Clinical Immunology and Microbiology, located on the main Bethesda campus of the National Institutes of Health.
Work at the intersection of clinical infectious disease, pathogen genomics, and computational biology. The staff scientist will have broad responsibilities in managing research activities in BPARU and will develop and lead independent research projects in the area of microbial genomics under the direction of the principal investigator. Doctoral degree in genomics, bioinformatics, computational biology, computer science, or related discipline and 4 to 10 years of postdoctoral experience in bioinformatics and microbial genomics are required.
