Newsletters on Children in Disasters, Technology and Disasters, and Research
SAMHSA DTAC has released two new issues of The Dialogue, the center’s flagship newsletter for the field. One issue focuses on how disaster behavioral health programs have found innovative ways to serve children. The other examines technologies in disaster. Recent issues of the Supplemental Research Bulletin, SAMHSA DTAC’s research newsletter, have focused on the effects of disasters on individuals with serious mental illness and how children react to human-caused disasters such as oil spills, nuclear accidents, mass violence, and terrorist attacks.
