Due to the ongoing Ebola virus disease outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, this one-hour conference call features subject matter experts from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) who discuss the current status of Ebola diagnostic testing that is available through the Laboratory Response Network (LRN) and CDC in the United States. The presenters also discuss considerations around using OraQuick® Ebola Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT), the first Ebola RDT that the Food and Drug Administration has allowed for marketing in the United States.
