This 10-page presentation, prepared for a waste management conference to be held on March 8–12, 2020, details the most recent version of the Waste Estimation Support Tool (WEST) for characterizing and quantifying biological and radiological waste that may be generated from decontamination efforts. The most significant improvement for the next version of WEST, in development, will include the ability for users to develop contamination scenarios and waste estimates based on previously developed, readily available, and geographically specific infrastructure data.
