Health IT to Enable Patient Understanding of Health Concerns and Treatments

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) is hosting a webinar Thursday, June 5 from 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. ET, on ways that health IT can be used to improve patient understanding of health issues and clinical treatments. The expert panel will discuss projects assessing the use of online counseling for weight-loss treatment in obese patients, using online portals for health management tasks in older adults, and decision-making regarding childhood immunizations among parents.
