CDC has recently updated the Interim Infection Prevention and Control Recommendations for Hospitalized Patients with Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus (MERS-CoV). The updated guidance added new information on:
- The duration that infection control precautions should be followed,
- Management of ill healthcare workers,
- Considerations for patient visitors,
- Aerosol-generating procedures, and
- Hand Hygiene
