STEADI: Older Adult Fall Prevention
Each year, more than one in four older adults experience a fall. CDC's "Stopping Elderly Accidents, Deaths, and Injuries (STEADI)" initiative provides trainings and tools to put fall prevention strategies into practice, including screening older adult patients, identifying risk factors, and offering evidence-based interventions. Two courses with free CE are available: one for pharmacists and one for doctors, nurses, and other providers. |
