Restricted-use Data Analysis System, a New SAMHDA Feature | |
The enhanced Substance Abuse and Mental Health Data Archive (SAMHDA) has launched a new section of its website, the Restricted-use Data Analysis System (RDAS). Like the publicly accessible Public-use Data Analysis System, RDAS is a user-friendly application for online analyses to create and output crosstabs and perform logistic regression from your web browser. RDAS is populated with restricted-use data—including certain geographic identifiers, like state—that pass built-in confidentiality restraints. Only data from the National Survey on Drug Use and Health are available in this initial release. With RDAS, you can see values by state over time, with data from 2004 to 2016. Because RDAS data are restricted, all results returned will comply with SAMHSA's disclosure limitations. Get Started With RDAS |
