Teamwork is an important contributor to safe surgical care. This session will focus on building effective multidisciplinary team behaviors in cardiothoracic surgery and discuss tactics such as the use of a taxonomy to assess nontechnical skills in simulation videos and utilizing standardized communication tools to enhance surgical team interactions.
