AHRQ Study Finds Few Adults Receive All Recommended Preventive Services
A new AHRQ study in Health Affairs found that only 8 percent of adults over 35 have received all the recommended preventive services and about 5 percent of adults reported they have not received any of them. Researchers developed and applied a first-of-its-kind questionnaire to 2015 data from AHRQ’s Medical Expenditure Panel Survey (MEPS). The analysis did find some better news: about 50 percent of people surveyed reported getting half or more of the recommended services. Access an AHRQ Views blog post on the topic.
