CIB: Medicaid Provisions in Recently Passed Federal Budget Legislation Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018 – Third Party Liability in Medicaid and CHIP

Today, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) released an Informational Bulletin to provide technical assistance to states in meeting requirements resulting from the passage of the  Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018 (Pub. Law 115-123).

This CMCS Informational Bulletin identifies the specific changes to several third party liability (TPL) rules related to the special treatment of certain types of care and payment in Medicaid and CHIP.
