The QCDR Measure Development Google Group and QCDR/Registry Google Calendar will be Available on June 15, 2018

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will be launching a Qualified Clinical Data Registry (QCDR) Measure Development Google Group and QCDR/Registry Google Calendar on Friday, June 15. The purpose of the QCDR Measure Development Google Group is to provide a space for QCDRs to collaborate on QCDR measures and share ideas throughout the QCDR measure development process. The QCDR/Registry Google Calendar will be used to share CMS availability for QCDR measure resolution calls (after the self-nomination period ends) and to track and highlight key milestones and activities for the annual self-nomination period.

Please note: this calendar should not be used to request pre-self-nomination QCDR measure concept meetings, and any dates listed are tentative and subject to change.

CMS is hosting a webinar on Tuesday, June 12 at 1:00 PM ET to provide information about the Promoting Interoperability (PI) performance category (formerly the Advancing Care Information performance category) of the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS).

During the webinar, CMS subject matter experts will:

Provide a brief overview of MIPS requirements in 2018
Discuss the renaming of the PI performance category
Explain the PI performance category requirements for 2018
Review PI scoring
Address questions from participants at the end of the webinar, as time allows.

How to construct QCDR measures that will align with the goals and priorities of the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) program
How to understand the structure of multi-strata measures
How to appropriately apply measure analytics
