Center for Advancing Holocaust Survivor Care announces grant opportunity for person-centered, trauma-informed care for Holocaust survivors
The Jewish Federations of North America's Center for Advancing Holocaust Survivor Care seeks local applications to expand Person-Centered, Trauma-Informed services for Holocaust Survivors throughout the United States. The application can be found at holocaustsurvivorcare.org.
Intent to Apply due July 16, 2018 / Application due August 27, 2018
Successful applicants will join a cohort of JFNA subgrantees that are developing and sharing models of trauma-informed care to help Holocaust survivors and other older adults impacted by trauma. This is the fourth funding cycle of this federally funded grant program, launched in 2015 in partnership with The Network of Jewish Human Service Agencies and the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.
Through the new grantees, more Holocaust Survivors will be able to live independently in their homes and communities, and innovative programs will be developed and shared with others helping older adults impacted by trauma.
