Webinar: The Role of Law and Policy in Addressing Healthcare-Associated Infections

Join us on Wednesday, October 30 at 2:00 p.m. ET for a webinar to learn how
combining relevant data with legal and policy strategies has helped reduce
healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) over the past decade. You’ll hear from
leading legal experts, healthcare executives, government representatives, and
community partners, including CDC’s Dr. Arjun Srinivasan. Given the considerable
progress made over the past decade to achieve Healthy People 2020 HAI-related
objectives, we’ll also discuss how these valuable lessons learned can help drive
action through Healthy People 2030. Register Now.

About the Law and Health Policy Project
The goal of the Healthy People Law and Health Policy project is to highlight how
evidence-based legal and policy interventions and strategies can facilitate progress
toward Healthy People objectives by improving community health and well-being. In
addition to reports and webinars, the project includes “Bright Spots,” or success
stories, that highlight successful policy interventions that have led to improved health
outcomes.

The project is a collaboration between the HHS Office of Disease Prevention and
Health Promotion (ODPHP), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC),
the CDC Foundation, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
