Juno vet warms up a new immunotherapy outfit

Dr. Larry Corey, the founder of both CAR-T player Juno Therapeutics and infectious disease immunology company Vir Biotechnology, appears to have stealthily formed a new startup. CERo Therapeutics popped up in a recent SEC filing that indicates it has raised some $45 million since 2016.

CERo is a “new cellular immunotherapy company” that seems to be manipulating “chimeric engulfment receptors,” STAT’s Kate Sheridan has the details.
