New CAHPS Podcast Series on Quality Improvement (QI)  
The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality announces a new series of CAHPS podcasts on improving patients’ experiences with care. Beginning in October, the QI podcast series will feature speakers from a variety of organizations around the country who share both their professional expertise and their experiences using CAHPS surveys to assess and improve the quality of care they deliver.
First Podcast: Value of Patient Experience
The first podcast features Dr. Larry Morrissey, the medical director of quality improvement for Stillwater Medical Group in Stillwater, MN, who discusses the value of and business case for improving patient experience. A practicing pediatrician, Dr. Morrissey leads this large medical group’s quality improvement efforts, including those around patient experience.

Future Podcasts
The series will examine factors that are important to quality improvement activities, including–
Leadership, culture and teamwork
Guidance on where to begin with improvements
