Training Webinar for Continuing Education Credit (CEU)

The CMS National Training Program presents “Understanding Medicare.” This training is intended for CMS partners and stakeholders who are new to Medicare or want a refresher, and are required to earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) as licensed professionals.  You must complete all of the course requirements.

This session will provide an overview of the Medicare program basics including Part A (Hospital Insurance), Part B (Medical Insurance), Part C (Medicare Advantage Plans), Part D (Prescription Drug Coverage), programs to help people with limited income and resources, and information about additional program resources.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is authorized by IACET to offer 0.4 CEU(s) for this program - Activity Number WE-L12162014. CEUs will be awarded to participants who meet all criteria for successful completion of this educational activity. CEU credit for this course expires December 31, 2014.

To receive credit once per year, participants must be able to fulfill ALL of the following:

• Complete the registration and save the confirmation with links to access the full curriculum throughout the course requirements
• Complete the pre-assessment prior to Session 1 on December 9, 2014
• Attend all four hours of the training on both December 9th and 10th, 2014
• Complete and pass the post test
• Complete the course evaluation following the above sessions
