May 9 Deadline Set for Comments on Formats To Report Hospital Safety Events

AHRQ is seeking comments through 6 p.m. ET May 9 on proposed updates to Common Formats for Event Reporting-Hospitals Version 2.0 – the standardized method for health care providers and Patient Safety Organizations to collect and exchange information about patient safety events in hospitals. The agency seeks public- and private-sector feedback to guide development of the new version. AHRQ is working with the National Quality Forum (NQF) to gather and analyze feedback on new Common Formats.
