Call for Presentations - Due January 5, 2017
We are seeking timely, topical and thought-provoking presentations for the 30th Annual Federal Information Systems Security Educators’ Association (FISSEA) Conference to be held March 14-15, 2017 at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in Gaithersburg, Maryland. We are looking for presentations that address all aspects of information security but focus on the training aspect. Where do you see security training evolving to? We’re looking for fresh ideas for the future.
Although historically it has been a relatively small conference with 250 attendees, we are anticipating more this year. Our audience are a highly motivated group that includes managers responsible for information systems security training programs in federal agencies, contractors providing awareness and training support, and faculty members of accredited educational institutions who are involved in information security training and education. FISSEA serves as a forum for the exchange of information about information security awareness, training, education, and certification.
FISSEA conferences offer great networking opportunities, are inexpensive to attend, and contain so much valuable information - there really is no other resource that offers as much value for such a small investment.
Keep in mind, there are other ways to participate:
- Enter the FISSEA Security Awareness, Training, and Education Contest – due date February 10, 2017
- Nominate a contemporary for the FISSEA Educator of the Year Award
- Participate in the Vendor and Federal Agency Exhibition (details coming soon)
- Registration url will be announced ASAP
We hope you Save the Date and plan to attend.
