Student Call for Abstracts: Due Jan. 29th | |
Attn Fellow Student and/or Student Advisor:
We would like to invite you to participate of an excellent opportunity to present your work at the upcoming 26th annual meeting of the Council of Ionizing Radiation Measurements and Standards (CIRMS). CIRMS will be awarding up to eight student travel grant awards. These awards will cover conference registration, a one-year membership to CIRMS, and $700 to cover travel and lodging costs.
In addition, student abstracts will be selected to enter a poster presentation competition, in which prizes of $500, $300, and $200 will be given out. All work involving the use of ionizing radiation will be considered including areas such as medical physics, radiation protection, industrial applications, etc. Essays submissions discussing the project's objectives, methods, and results are being solicited. Essays must not exceed 1000 words and may include figures and tables.
