HRSA Invites Applications for National Health Service Corps Sites |
Do you need more clinicians to keep up with increased demand for your services? Would you like to expand services, but need more staff? Do you struggle to retain clinicians? The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) invites health care provider organizations to apply to become a National Health Service Corps (NHSC)-approved site. The NHSC helps provider organizations recruit and retain qualified health care providers through the NHSC Loan Repayment Program, which helps primary care providers pay off their student loan debt in exchange for serving at least 2 years at an NHSC-approved site. NHSC recently received $105 million for future NHSC Loan Repayment Program awards that expands and improves access to quality opioid and substance use disorder treatment in rural and underserved areas. New this year, outpatient substance use disorder treatment facilities may be eligible to apply if they provide any of these services:
