This 150-page report is the final one focusing on the strategy to support Public Health England (PHE) in the delivery of specific aspects of the United Kingdom Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Strategy 2013 to 2018. It highlights work that has started in support of the objectives in the UK’s new five-year national action plan for tackling AMR from 2019 to 2024. It reports that there were an estimated 61,000 antibiotic-resistant infections in England during 2018 - a 9 percent rise from 2017. (PDF)
