CMS has posted several new Quality Payment Program (QPP) materials to the QPP Resource Library:

QPP Resources

• QPP Access User Guide (zip) (updated) – Guides users through the process of obtaining a user ID and password; connecting to an organization; and managing their access to view, submit, and update their QPP data.

2020 Performance Period

• 2020 MIPS Quality Measures List – Provides details on all of the MIPS quality measures, including descriptions, collection types, and applicable specialty measure sets.

• 2020 Medicare Part B Claims Measure Specifications and Supporting Documents (zip) – Provides comprehensive descriptions of the 2020 claims measures for the MIPS Quality performance category.

• 2020 Clinical Quality Measure Specifications and Supporting Documents (zip) – Provides comprehensive descriptions of the 2020 clinical quality measures (or CQMs) for the MIPS Quality performance category.

• 2020 CMS Web Interface Measure Specifications and Supporting Documents (zip) – Provides comprehensive descriptions of the 2020 CMS Web Interface measures for the MIPS Quality performance category.

• 2020 QCDR Measure Specifications (zip) – Details 2020 Qualified Clinical Data Registry (QCDR) measures and corresponding calculations.

• 2020 Improvement Activities Inventory (zip) – Provides a complete list of the 2020 improvement activities for the MIPS Improvement Activities performance category and includes descriptions for each.

• 2020 Promoting Interoperability Measure Specifications (zip) – Provides a detailed overview of the requirements for the 2020 Promoting Interoperability performance category objectives and measures.

• 2020 Cost Measure Information Forms (zip) – Details the measure methodology for each of the 18 episode-based cost measures (10 of which are new for the Cost performance category in 2020) and provides an overview of the 2020 TPCC and MSPB-C cost measures that were established for MIPS in 2018 and revised for 2020.

2019 Performance Period

• 2019 MIPS Automatic Extreme and Uncontrollable Circumstances Policy Fact Sheet – Addresses the automatic extreme and uncontrollable circumstances policy as it applies to MIPS eligible clinicians affected by natural disasters in 2019, explains how the policy works, and answers frequently asked questions.

• 2019 CMS Web Interface Materials
• Excel Template – Preformatted Excel template that can be used to input submission data for the 2019 CMS Web Interface.
• Excel Template with Sample Data – Provides an example of the latest CMS Web Interface Excel Template populated with sample data.
• Data Dictionary – Defines elements from the CMS Web Interface Excel Template to assist template users.
• FAQs – Answers frequently asked questions about data submission via the CMS Web Interface.
