Reminder: SAMHSA Listening Session for 42 CFR Part 2

Wednesday, January 31, 2018 | 8:30 a.m.–1 p.m. Eastern Time SAMHSA will hold a public listening session to solicit information concerning the Confidentiality of Substance Use Disorder Patient Records regulations (42 CFR Part 2) as required by Section 11002 of the 21st Century Cures Act (P.L. 114-255). This listening session is an opportunity to provide input concerning the effect of 42 CFR Part 2 on patient care, health outcomes, and patient privacy as well as potential regulatory changes and future subregulatory guidance. Registration is required for participation in the listening session. The entire proceeding will be streamed live over the Internet. While the opportunity to register to provide comments is closed, SAMHSA is accepting registrations for listen-only participation. Registration for the webcast will close on January 31, 2018, at 8:30 a.m. ET.  Register to Listen Virtually Please send registration questions to 42cfrp2listeningsession@gmail.com.
