This Web presentation was held on January 6, 2012 as part of the Healthcare Innovation by Design Pioneers Webinar series.

In this presentation, Mary Nix of the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) and Office of the HHS Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation discusses innovative health care service delivery changes, issues surrounding their adoption and spread, and free tools that support decisionmaking about the adoption of health care innovations.

Mary P. Nix, MS is currently with the Office of the HHS Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE). She is also a Health Scientist Administrator at the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) where she leads three multi-million dollar, national-level projects: the National Guideline Clearinghouse, the National Quality Measures Clearinghouse, and the AHRQ Innovations Exchange. She co-led the establishment of an enterprise-wide innovations awards program for HHS and continues to serve the program. She is a health care professional with 29 years of experience in clinical, educational, and research settings in private and public sectors.
