NIST Cloud Computing Forum & Workshop IX

Purpose:

cloudlogo_150pxThe world that we live in today is significantly different than it was just a few years ago. The ability to create, store, manipulate ever increasingly amounts of data from cell phone, tablets and other devices continues to grow by leaps and bounds. We have also seen an explosion in the amount of networked cyber-physical devices that interact with their environment through sensing and actuation. Smart cities, smart building and driverless cars are in the crosshairs of this new world.
Our modern world is facilitated by cloud computing which empowers and seamlessly supports these technologies and enables future innovation.
