Upcoming Webinars for Hospitals Interested in AHRQ Antibiotic Stewardship Project AHRQ is seeking hospitals to join a national project that aims to reduce harms related to inappropriate use of antibiotics while preserving antibiotics’ effectiveness for future generations. Please join us for a 1-hour webinar to learn how participation can benefit your patients and hospital. The 12-month project, which is offered at no charge to hospitals, will begin in December 2017. Hospitals taking part in this effort will receive antibiotic-use guidelines for several infectious disease syndromes, expert coaching, online education, improvement tools, patient education materials, and other resources to help run an effective antibiotic stewardship program. Using the Comprehensive Unit-based Safety Program, they will also address the cultural, organizational, and behavioral factors that underlie antibiotic ordering habits.
