New resources on trauma, suicide prevention, and intimate partner violence

The SAMHSA-HRSA Center for Integrated Health Solutions (CIHS) has new and revised webpages on TraumaSuicide Prevention, and Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) - which are often interrelated issues. Trauma is highly prevalent and a major risk factor for suicide and IPV.
The updated pages feature many of the best nationwide resources on these topics, tailored to behavioral health and primary care organizations.

Doxing and other cyberbulling tactics

“Doxing” is a form of online harassment used to exact revenge and to threaten and destroy the privacy of individuals by making their personal information public, including addresses, social security, credit card and phone numbers, links to social media accounts, and other private data. 

Essential Community Providers (ECP) for 2019 – act by Friday, December 22

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight released a draft ECP list for Plan Year 2019.
Providers who wish to submit corrections, updates, or requests for inclusion can do so until the deadline on Friday, December 22.

Webinar: Medical-Legal Partnership in action – adapting MLP to your center and community

January 9, 2 - 3:30 p.m. ET

This webinar aims to help participants understand the MLP approach and field, and how it aligns with existing health centers' services and priorities, especially enabling services. 
It will also discuss the opportunities for multi-sector engagement across all health centers and civil legal aid offices with a focus on population health strategies. 
The webinar will be helpful to HRSA grantees, healthcare providers, public health officials, community-based organizations and legal aid advocates wanting to learn more about how this intervention could work in their community.
It will be held January 9 from 2-3:30 p.m. ET.
